Its incredible composition makes it both waterproof and breathable, as its intelligent polyurethane layer acts as a barrier against liquids while the Tencel fabric absorbs moisture, preventing heat and sweat.

Layer 1: 100% Tencel fabric (natural thermoregulatory fiber)

TENCEL is a fiber of 100% natural origin, considered a Super fabric! Soft like silk, strong like polyester, cool like linen, thermoregulating like wool, and more absorbent than cotton. Below, we present the main technical characteristics, properties, and curiosities of this fascinating fabric.

Tencel fabric is a fiber obtained from the wood pulp of trees such as eucalyptus, pine, fir... The fiber is extracted by treating the wood pulp with a non-toxic organic solvent (amine oxide), which dissolves the cellulose, resulting in a highly viscous solution. The solvent is continuously recycled, making it a fiber that can be described as eco-friendly.

Being a cellulosic fiber, it absorbs moisture and is completely biodegradable. It is very durable both in dry and wet conditions. It has a low shrinkage rate. The result is a fabric that is very soft, durable, elastic, antibacterial, anti-dust mite, absorbent, thermoregulating, and above all, skin-friendly.
