Density: it is the relationship between the mass of the material and its volume (m3), and mainly reflects the product’s resistance. HR is directly related to density, and therefore to durability. It is important that HR is adequate because if it is too low, the mattress may deform in a short time. Our Geribed mattress has a density of 25 kg HR, ensuring firmness and long-term shape retention.

Firmness: it is important to note that when we refer to firmness, we mean the ability to keep the body stable and secure while allowing free movement for the sleeper. We do not refer to hardness, but to the balanced way of supporting the body.

Resilience: resilience is the quality that allows a material to return to its original shape. It is very important, especially in rest products and even more so in mattresses used over long periods. Geribed is prepared for this, as it features high resilience.
